Alpha Vape Pen

Alpha is a vape pen-style system designed for open tank vaping. VAPO stocks Alpha devices, replacement tanks, and coils. The Alpha range uses a classic pen form factor with a refillable tank and replaceable coil, making it a straightforward option for vapers who prefer an open system without the complexity of a full mod setup.

The Alpha vape pen is an open-system device with a tank that you fill with bottled e-liquid and a replaceable coil that screws into the base of the tank. It is larger and produces more vapour than compact pod systems, but requires more maintenance including coil changes and tank refilling. Vape pens are typically suited to users who have moved beyond entry-level closed systems and want more control over their setup.

The Alpha vape pen is compatible with freebase e-liquids. It is not recommended for use with high-strength nicotine salt liquids, as the increased vapour production at standard pen wattages would deliver too much nicotine per puff. Freebase options in the 3mg/mL to 6mg/mL range are most commonly used with pen-style devices of this type.

Alpha coils should be changed when flavour quality begins to deteriorate, a burnt or metallic taste develops, or vapour production drops noticeably. Coil lifespan varies with usage frequency, e-liquid sweetness (high-sugar e-liquids clog coils faster), and wattage used. Alpha replacement coils are sold in multi-packs through vapo.co.nz.

Rinse the tank with warm water and allow it to dry fully whenever you change e-liquid flavours or notice a build-up of residue affecting taste. Avoid allowing the tank to run completely empty, as this can cause dry hits and premature coil wear. Prime each new coil by applying a few drops of e-liquid to the wicking holes before first use and allowing it to soak for five minutes before vaping.
